Good stuff :D this is all subject to change when 2.1 goes live, but this is what wowhead has available as of 5/13/07Ĭomment by QuiverDethecus Demon Stalker Armor With the patch 2.0 change to Hunter mechanics, it really has made it seem like they can start from square one with how hunter oriented gear can be itemized. Granted my experience with raiding was before the 2.0 patch, it still helps to give an idea of whats to come. The only problem was I ran out of mana fast because we are very inefficient with it we shots left and right never allowing our regen to kick in, whereas other classes get the chance for a maybe a tick or 2. From my expierence raiding on my hunter, the damage that hunter's can output when using their entire mana pool is actually pretty great, sometimes more than a rogue or mage depending on how lucky I was with crits. This shows that blizzard is wanting hunter's to have larger mana pools which in turn leads to longer sustained damage while in combat. Above on Demon Stalker is a whopping 122, more than ever seen on a set before. One very interesting thing to point out about Demon Stalker is the amount of total intellect on the armor. Cryptstalker has a total of 3638 armor, where Demon Stalker is 3022. But knowing that makes it easier to compare the stats. It can be agreed that it is hard to compare and contrast tier 3 to tier 4, or that it's comparing a 5 piece set to a 9 piece set. Overall, the set is generally an improvement over Tier 3, Cryptstalker. Comment by IW00BruiserIt is a 5 piece set, just like the tier 2.5 armor in The Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
