I'm sure there are still critical bugs that I don't even know exist. The most difficult thing that constantly stalled my project was all kinds of bugs and errors due to my inexperience. I could have done the project a little earlier, but due to many problems, I had to spend less time on the project. But even so, it took me a long two years of development. But I decided not to abandon the project, but to make at least the chapter "RUINS". I realized how complicated my project is after a couple of months. I had no idea that this seemingly simple game hides so many details. I began to explore the game from the inside, how it works, I replayed it many times, surfed Wikipedia, looked for details, watched different videos. I started drawing new textures, at that point I was a complete novice in both drawing and animation. I loved Undertale so much that I was determined to create a fan-made remaster. The following is a description of my feelings and what I realized when developing the game If I have not mentioned someone or have mentioned incorrectly, please contact me! Due to the high complexity of creating the game, it ends with the RUINS chapter.ĭetermination - Video game theme orchestra This game contains high quality textures, excellent music from fans of the original game, some modified sounds and supports Full HD. Undertale enchanted is a fan made remastered version of the original game Undertale by Toby Fox. ((Healthy Dog's Warning: Game contains imagery that may be harmful to players with photosensitive epilepsy or similar condition.)) - Toby Fox In this RPG, you control a human who falls underground into the world of monsters. This game is distributed on a completely free basis and does NOT provide any fee for it. The original game Undertale was created by Toby Fox. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience. In case of problems, you can download the desktop version from this link. Also, the game weighs about 200 MB, so it can take a long time to load with a weak Internet connection. But it has to be said, if it’s the only thing you are going to offer, you have to go all out.Due to an unoptimized game engine, the application consumes about 2 GB of RAM. We get that platformers aren’t usually a vehicle for gripping stories, aside from more Recent titles like Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart for example. The story is that you have been sucked into an enchanted world and you will need to fight your way through the beasts and baddies of this land to get back. The only unique thing about this game is the storyline but sadly, the story is bare bones. Enchanted Portals fails to understand this nuance and while the game plays fine and is fun, it feel dirty in some strange way. It’s similar but not to the point of copying. Just look at Fenyx Immortals and Breath of the Wild. However, there is a correct way to include mechanics from other IP’s and this isn’t it. For that reason, the combat and platforming feel clean and crisp. Then as for gameplay, Enchanted Portals has just copied Cuphead’s homework again. Plus, the magical focus of the storyline gives this visual showcase a little bit of a unique feel, but not much as far as Cuphead is concerned. It offers the same 50’s style, lower FPS animation along with vibrant cartoonish assets which bring the settings and the stages to life. However, if we are looking through an objective lens, we have to say that this game looks the part. It’s hard to give this game as much praise as it deserves as it has taken so much inspiration from Cuphead that it reads as a pure copycat operation. Ok, so let’s talk about the visuals first of all.
